	1979 Started operations as an aftermarket service provider and used-car dealer, occupying a petrol station. Acquired 5 units of rental cars.
	1985 Acquired own office unit in a shopping centre to develop the self-drive transient rental market. Fleet expanded to 70 cars.
	1992 Acquired Presidential Pacific Limousine Pte Ltd, along with its fleet of cars. With this acquisition, and control of the subsidiary, General Cars became the largest limousine rental operator in Singapore.
	1995 Obtained license from the Land Transport Authority of Singapore to operate a “Bus-Plus” service of minibuses along a public route. This service, under the “Executive Express” name, uses luxurious, airconditioned vehicles to ferry people from their condominiums to offices in the business district.
	2000 - present The fleet size of General Cars and its subsidiaries exceeds 300 vehicles. The Company moved into its own Corporate Building in Eunos with its own workshop facilities for more effective servicing of vehicles. Meanwhile, the Company was appointed as the main transport provider to various Government Ministries, Statutory Boards, Government Link Companies, Embassies, Multi National Companies, Major Hotels, Travel Agencies and many others. In the course of these appointments, we have provided transport solutions to many major events such the Asian Aerospace, Ministerial Conferences/Summits, Regional Securities Conferences/Summits, Major Trade Conferences, Foreign Dignitary Visitations, Private Usage. In 2006, we were honoured to be appointed the Main Provider/Manager to the International Monetary Fund/World Bank Conference hosted by the Government of Singapore in September.
